Flat-to-Fold Bag
This bag is being designed for the Spark, an innovative Firestarter, based on customer’s requirement in two different versions to support creativity and simplicity.
Design Strategy
Modularity: configure the bag to your specific needs
Durability: built to last, based on required temperature & usability
Accessibility: Designed with easy access points, allowing to quickly and comfortably pack and reach the items

ideation
For this project, I explored three approaches:
Flat-to-Fold Approach: Initially challenging to grasp as a bag, but easier to produce.
Origami Approach: More complex in construction and materials than the folding option. It needs internal binding and lamination or hard foam for the corners, sides, and bottom.
Streamlined Origami Design: A soft origami version could simplify the process. While it won’t be as satisfying as one with stronger foam, the result would still be convertible.
